Paper Heart Tree

A quick and easy DIY for your family on Valentine’s Day is this precious Paper Heart Tree. It’s under $10 and super simple.

I’m always inspired by Scandanavian holiday decor and this is my version of their “Christmas Branch Tree”.

Holidays to me are festive, whimsical, and always a bit organic and this DIY embodies all three of these attributes perfectly.

You’ll need the following supplies:

First, take a trip to the craft store if you need any of the above supplies. I love JoAnn’s or Michael’s and there is always a coupon.

Next, you’ll need to take a trip to the front yard or a walk around the block to find the perfect branch. I like something unruly that has lots of areas to hang. This may sound difficult to find but I promise they are all over!

Take one of your favorite vases and place your branch inside and then download and print the template linked above.

Trace a few of the heart templates onto 4-5 shades of cardstock and cut them out so you have about 12-15 hearts. Although you can do as many or as little as you’d like.

Once you assemble your hearts, string your string through the cut in the bottom, knot, and place them onto your tree.

The best part of this “arrangement” is there is no maintenance - it stays just as beautiful all season and is mess-free.

Enjoy! Xx
